It has just been announced that JustcCause: Mobile has been officially cancelled

I don’t think this comes to anyone’s surprise, the public alpha has been taken offline a while ago and everyone’s purchases have been refunded, but now we finally have an official statement

Below you can see the official statement posted in the Just Cause: Mobile Discord, which will also be deleted shortly

But why was it cancelled? Well, most of you have probably never even heard of it

Square Enix did a terrible job telling people this actually exists. Combine the unpopularity with a clear lack of care and vision for what the game is supposed to be and you’ve got a recipe for failure

I have played the game personally shortly before it was taken offline and nothing about it made any sense, they just threw together any and all random assets they had laying around and added in Rico to make it a Just Cause game

Here’s back to waiting for Just Cause 5. And hopefully that one will actually be good
